About Zayan The Label

Established in September 2012, Zayan the Label is designer Zayan Ghandour’s destination-wear line featuring hand-embroidered motifs, custom illustrated prints and innovative cuts. A new adventure informs every collection, with a signature narrative and unexpected design twists drawing inspiration from the rich traditions and cultures encountered along the way. Every season, a new destination unravels, and the delight is always in the detail.

THE DESIGNER

Zayan Ghandour was born in Beirut, Lebanon. Her career in fashion started with a limited edition t-shirt line, which gained notoriety quickly amongst editors and buyers alike. In 2004, Zayan co-founded the award winning multi-brand concept boutique, sauce, where she serves as creative director and head buyer, overseeing 9 boutiques in total. Following the success of sauce, Zayan began developing her eponymous brand: Zayan the Label, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2011 to wide acclaim and recently opened her first standalone in Dubai. Drawing inspiration from her twin daughters, Zayan’s vision and energy are prevalent in every endeavor she aligns herself with.
